Biography
Nikita Owens was born in the heart of Chicago. Growing up, she always knew that she had a creative side and a love of art. While attending Kenwood Academy high school she was introduced to Photography and its visual aesthetics. Nikita recognized that photography wasn’t her passion, but she loved the authenticity that it brought visually. Not until her senior year in high school, she realized she wanted to be a part of the fashion industry.
Nikita enrolled in Sanford-Brown College (formerly International Academy of Design and Technology) located in downtown Chicago where she fell in love with Merchandising. Taking up Fashion Merchandising, Nikita realized she want to concentrate on visual merchandising specifically. She interned for Lifestyle Trimco Viaggio, a mannequin manufactured based company that was established in California. Lifestyle Trimco Viaggio stationed temporary in Chicago where she operated as a visual merchandiser assistant. Nikita also worked in many retail establishments such as Charlotte Russe, and Barnes & Noble where she enhanced her visual talents with creating displays, assembling displays and personal styling. Nikita strategy is become a top visual merchandiser for top corporations nationwide.
